Collection regarding Harry Augustus Garfield, 1931-1956.

The collection contains Garfield's manuscripts of "Lost Visions," 1931, a study of the Institute of Politics, Williams College. Another manuscript by Lucretia Garfield Comer, entitled "Strands From the Wearing" and published by Vantage Press in 1959, gives a biography of Harry Augustus Garfield's first forty years. Fifteen photogaphs of the Garfield family and of the Garfield home, n.d., used as illustrations for "Strands...," are also included.
